Above expectations
My word. The George HOTEL is in South Molton, it is far from a village pub and no where near Hatherleigh which is easily 45 minutes drive away!!!! The George hotel is a well respected venue in DSouth Molton, often hosting live music evenings and local dinner nights. The rooms are of a high standard and at such a good rate, book early to avoid disapointment.

Beyond expectations
Last weekend, I went home to Devon to visit my mum for the weekend. I'd forgotten how quaint the tiny village of Hatherleigh was and how much I enjoyed an evening in one of its lovely pubs. The George Hotel has everything you ask for in an old fashioned village pub. The wide selection of local ales, the tremendous food, the friendly staff and the roaring fire make The George a lovely way to spend an evening.
