Beyond expectations
Whether you want a game of pool, watch the footy or grab a cold one in the beer garden the Wrey arms accommodates it all. With its lively and friendly atmosphere, fantastic food at affordable prices, my favorite being a full rack of BBQ ribs! with all the trimmings! =) Don't just take my word for it, see for yourself.

The Wrey is a great family run pub with a whole age range of customers,they sponsor a successful football team and Mark the landlord is a top bloke who arranges loadsa social nights with proceeds going to local charities,you have to try their grub especially sunday lunch, its beautiful.Your never on your own cause everyone is so friendly. I held my daughter's christening party there and I couldnt fault Mark or his staff,the service was second to none and I didnt have to worry about anything except socialising with my guests and children are welcome they have their own beer garden to play in which is safe and secure.Whenever my family visit they stay here in lovely rooms which are spotlessly clean and return time again just for the breakfast!!! Well done Mark,family and staff.

Lots of room which sometimes means you end up using it as more of a 'function' rather than a 'party' pub, and as the nearest bar to the cemetary you often end up in there after funerals as well. The noisier bar tends to be the one on the left hand side with the pool table, locals and diners to the right please.

great pub for anyone that wants to watch sky tv play pool, darts or skittles or on the other hand have a very nice meal in the comfortable lounge bar. also a good place to hold private functions

They have great beer, great staff and great atmosphere here, its alwasy full and i know thats because the food/beer is always good, never run out and the owners are very welcoming! In the day its overflowing with college kids from the college up the road, its lovely here in the summer as they have created a nice garden/ sitting place! the place is basic but nicely so, thats what we all need sometimes

Beyond expectations
GREAT beer, GREAT staff, GREAT food, GREAT accommodation. GREAT function room. So I like this place. Theres a huge selection of beers, ales as well as ur mass produced fizzy stuff. The staff are always good for a laugh and have a warm welcome. The food is basic but theres nothing bad about that, freshly cooked, tasty and no boil in the bag. The acomm is again basic, but hey its a pub with rooms , not a blinkin hotel.
