As expected
Having visited two times recently, I think the service and food can be a bit hit and miss. First time I went it was served plesantly and quickly. Second not so.The decor since being refurbished is really nice. Good parking facilities and next to a Premier Inn

Above expectations
This place has had a nice re-vamp within the last 12months ish and is looking really nice now. I must say before the refurb it was looking a bit shabby! The food is average and service is quick and friendly. We tend to go here for family meals as its pretty child friendly as it has an outdoor playground.

opposite Tescos in Barnstaple just off the north devon link road nice friendly staff very good food large family area regular 2-4-1 offers on the menu

As expected
Brewers Fayre is a restaurant chain bolted on to a hotel \\ motorway service rest stop chain. The building is lovely but the food is still a bit " boil in the bag". You know what youre getting and as long as its been in the microwave long enough it'll be the same temperature as last time. Great play aresa for the kids in the summer, not kid friendly when wet outside.

A very easy place to come and have some very simple food, its great if you have kids and want to watch some footie, they have really made the place more respectfull with the refurb. Im not sure they get anymore people though as they arnt doing anything different to be honest!!

As expected
after having a major refurb it now has a revamped and contemporary look. Food however is a little hit and miss, have enjoyed very nice food there, but also experienced long waits and cold food too!! On a good day its really good, certainly worth going for a drink as the surroundings are now lovely.

Yes it looks nice, and yes the staff are nice and friendly but they're not doing anything here that you can't get anywhere else. The refit's made it look nice, but the food's a bit mass-produced and microwave friendly.
