Beyond expectations
Hospital Radio Plymouth has been going since the Sixties, and continues to provide both great radio for hospital patients, and great people into the broadcasting industry. I started out there when I was 14, and one day, I hope to go back.

A really brilliant station, producing some really good shows.
Kept me entertained when I was in derriford for a week a couple of years ago - don't know what else I would have done!!!

I started my radio career with hospital radio. It is an amazing place to cut your teeth in radio. You leanr so much plus you are providing a great service for people as well. it's a win win situation.

Above expectations
Without hospital radio Plymouth it's very very unlikely that I would be here at all. It's not just me either, most of the presenters who have graced our speakers over the years honed their skills at HRP. They've just won a couple of national awards too, Long may it continue.

If you would like to get into radio or you just fancy doing a good deed for your community this is a really good place to join.
They've just won a couple of prestigious awards and hospital radio really can make a difference to peoples stay in hospital.
I started my radio career here as did many other radio and TV presenters including Phillip Schofiled.
There are a registered charity and always in need of funding for the great work that they do.
