Above expectations
There is nothing wrong with this pub or its dog policy. Michaela took umbridge when asked to keep her two large dogs on leads(1 a Ridgeback) as they used to scrounge from people who were eating. Wish I had time to write 125 reviews

As expected
There's loads of hisotry behind this quirky little pub. It doesn't open all day but it is full of character. They do some really nice local ales and change thier guest beers around quite frequently, they do some lovely lunch time bagettes.
My only problem is you are allowed to take dogs in this pub, but the owners don't really like dogs, they put up with them. I would expect a friendlier attitude to a pub that you can take dogs into and i was dissapointed by their reactions. I haven't been back into the pub since a run in with the owners over their dog policy. It's a shame becuase as i say it's nice pub, but the owners can be a bit funny.
