I like the Blues Bar the food upstairs is really good and even better is the bar downstairs, they do girlie cocktails and some nice shots, and its young hip and trendy in here. Live acts on too which adds to the evening.

Girly night out!

22 Apr 08, 22:41 4* Above expectations

Met up with old school friends here and had a great night. We ate up stairs in the restaurnat and the food was excellent. Service was good and we went downstirs later and listened to live music which was aslo excellent. We stayed there all night and would reccommend this place as it's a fun atmosphere and ideal to stumble into a taxi after a good night out!

Not just good music

Well know for having a great showcase of local talent playing live, they also do really nice food.

Their burgers are among the best in Plymouth and on a summers days you really can't beat the view from the outside seats.

I like all the photos and pictures they have up, really makes it feel like a proper blues bar.

Good atmospehere

15 Apr 08, 18:19 4* Above expectations

The Blues bar does great food through the day and evening- you can sit outside if it's warm enough and the view is pretty good!

They often have live bands, only been in a friday when someone has been singing and I was really impressed.

Just don't drink the 'desperados' on an empty stomach!

Fab food & service

08 Apr 08, 22:50 4* Above expectations

A great pub/restaurant where you can get the best of both worlds. If you fancy a more casual atmosphere, you can eat in the pub bit downstairs, but for those more formal occasions, the restuarant upstairs is lovely. The Blues Bar is situated right on the quay of the Barbican, lovely staff, good food, great location, what more can you say!
