My friends and I have been goin here for years and love it. Great for a hangover cure. The fry ups are great, not greasy and fresh orange juice. They also do lovely toasted sandwhiches and homemade cakes.!!! Its situated on the Plymouth side of the Cremyll ferry foot passenger ferry. Free car park in behind the pub opposite.
Try it the next time your in stonehouse you wont be dissapointed.

Elvira's Cafe

Beyond expectations
There is only one thing about Elvira's that does not get a rating of 100% top notch. It's not open on a Sunday when you really want a fry up but can't be bothered to cook. Make no mistake this is no greasy spoon (just try one of the cakes!!!). The best place in Plymouth for a breakfast meeting and great for a fry up brunch on a saturday before an afternoon at Argyle or Albion.

This famous artist used to frequent this outwardly unnassuming little cafe near the foot ferry. They serve a wicked fry up and Beryl in not forgotten as all her local works of art are on the walls. The plave wher locals not tourists go.

Good Breakfasts

I love this little place, its just by the Plymouth side of the cremyll ferry.
You can tell the breakfasts are going to be good when you walk in and see the workmen sat with the suits having meetings all tucking in together.
They do half breakfasts too, which is just perfect for me.
It can get pretty busy at peak times but the efficient service means you never have to wait that long.
The only annoying thing is that they don't open on a Sunday.
