Beyond expectations
The Moonlight Bistro is almost a chameleon location. It ranges for quick simply lunches, magnificent Sunday Roasts to Jazz evening & romantic meals for 2.
Its decor is unassuming with out the fancy fuss of many eateries theese days, but the difference is the service, you're always treated as the most important guest. The staff are more than friendly they are helpful & never seem too busy to check your ok or if you need anything else.
Its a very informal location but the atmosphere is wonderful whether you're in for lunch or a special occasion.
The food is varied & always seems to be the best local produce available. Portions are never too small & specific requests are more than often met with a yes & a wonderful smile.
The Bistro hosts a jazz evening which is great & highly recommended so booking is a must for these occasions.
We enjoy the Sunday Roasts that are out of this world with a choice of 3 or 4 meats, ample vegetables & the best yorkshire puddings we've ever had.
Nothing is too much trouble for this family run establishment & they are always happy to help, like the time we went for Sunday Lunch but both ran out of the place during our main course. No-one minded & when we returned they simply laughed at us as we'd left the roof off our sports car - but true as always they simply made sure our meal was still hot enough & we weren't too wet.
