Great view, great food.

Beyond expectations
The first thing to say about the Lewinnick Lodge is that you will not get a more beautiful view than the dramatic North Cornwall coast to overlook as you eat. It's beautiful.
The bar is well stocked and friendly enough. There's always some kids on the pool table though.
The food is exquisite. I had a cheese and onion filled bread (like a posh cheese toastie), followed by Swordfish with crab salad which was perfect. It's the first time I've had swordfish and it was delicious. My partner had the hake which was also done to perfection.
We rounded off with an Eton Mess to share which, again, was perfect.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, despite the fact the restaurant was busy with families they always found time to accomodate us.
As close to perfect as a meal can be.

Great Roasts

Above expectations
On a Sunday after a Saturday night out in Newquay, either walk up here, or get a taxi, sit on the balcony overlooking the sea and have a roast. The end of a perfect weekend.
