Beyond expectations
This is a small restaurant, nestled on Rodbourne Rd. The size however does not detract from the excellent service and standard of food. They have a wide range of dishes to suit all palate's. From Balti to Vindaloo and includes a large range of specialities. Including Vegetarian. The authentic decorations and ambient music are a wonderful addition to your experience in the restaurant and the service for take-away is speedy (considering the meals are cooked fresh) and friendly. The prices are very reasonable too.

Above expectations
If you want a (freshly cooked) tasty indian meal with A1 service in a clean and friendly restaurant thats realistically affordable then the Lalbagh is the place to go!! The staff are always cheerful and helpful, the food will be cooked to your requirements (if necessary) and the prices won't break the bank :)

Beyond expectations
An excellent night out with great Indian food- we tried some dishes that we had never heard of before and were impressed by a curry made from peanut butter! The restaurant was very busy but the waiters made sure we were comfortable while we waited for our table (we didn't book). The food took a while but that's because they cook everything freshly and it's nice not to feel rushed through the meal. Finished off well when the waiters brought us some Indian sweets with our bill.
