Great for kids but needs a facelift!

I used to go there as a kid and had some great times there. I decided to take my son there recently. We had a great time as it has all the components of a great fun pool, the waves, the rain and 4 flumes and a kids play pool. We all had fun as there is something for all the family. My only complaints are that it clearly hasn't been touched for about a decade when I used to go - it desperately need cleaning up and refurbishing as it's looking old and a bit scanky. They have added one slide but it's pretty pathetic and is neither good for small kids nor exciting enough for adults so I'm not sure who it was meant to appeal to. The other issue is that you only get 1 hour in the pool. I can understand that in busy periods you need sessions but when it's quiet I don't understand why they limit it like this. It's not really long enough and makes it expensive for what it is and a long way to go for only an hours entertainment. I would go there again but only because there's not much to rival it in the area but it wouldn't be hard to beat it!

Starting to look really run down
The pool is still as it was when I went here as a kid.
You can also see quite good bands here (Oasis are named after this place) I saw the Fratellis here, but there's something that just really stands out... it's not really a concert venue, it's just a big sports hall.

Swindon's Music venue

Went to The Oasis For a music Concert and acting as a music venue this location is local, central and convient for the people of swindon. A large sports hall is big enough to hold a good sized capacity of people therefore local people being able to watch live big acts without traveling to far afield! If this will continue to be swindons biggest music venue more car parking would be suggestable and also due to the large number of people attending it can get pretty hot in there and i found myself on a number of occasions having to leave the performance to get some fresh air! great professional staff who kept everything running smoothly! great to have big names performing here to put swindon on the map!

Home of the legendry domebusters, wave machine, free formed lagoon pool, slide and the new one which was put in last year "lagoon falls"
Always busy and a great place to keep the kids amused,
They have many sports halls, and outdoor pitches, and over the years has become a popular place for bands.
Recently we have seen hard-fi, kooks, pet shop boys, and girls alound.
Acoustics are not great but you cant complain as its the only place in swindon that these artists come to!

Great for all the family - the swimming sessions go down a treat with the kids. So many flumes to choose from and the wave machine is to die for.
Don't forget the armbands for the little tiddlers - they can be bought from the restaurant area but they are a little pricey.
