Above expectations
A nice friendly place to go, generally clean and good tunes are played. Drinks are average priced. Have not eaten there so could not recommend the food. Staff are generally friendly although it can take sometime to get served on a weekend. Could hire more staff.
Always a good atmosphere on a friday or saturday night out. An added bonus is all the hunky guys that drink there!
Overall a good place to party!

Nice cafe bar in Oldtown on Wood St. Great atmosphere in here, very busy but managed to get some seats out the back. Good service by the bar staff. Didn't have anything to eat in here but other people did and was very quick service and food looked good! Good pub to go in on bank holidays, always a lively happy place to be.

Whether you are wanting a few quiet drinks after work, tasty cocktails and a vibrant atmosphere or a sunday chill out in the beer garden. Mackenzies caters for all and every occasion! love it here and venture down to this dwelling frequentley! Great Friendly staff serving up some great drinks and cocktails with some fantastic offers, great DJ's Spinning some funky tunes and and always a busy and classy atmosphere! The food here is always good, specially the wraps and with the benefit of big wide screen tv's, this is a great place to go to watch all the big footie matches!

Spacious, friendly and like The Old Bank... a much nicer place to go out than down in the town.
Plenty of room to meet and in the area for quite a few of the bars in Old Town. Once you've been out around here, you'll wonder why you ever ventured down the hill into town
