Nice for Lunch

As expected
I recently visited the Steam Railway for a birthday lunch with friends. Although going through a re-furb currently it is comfortable and has a really nice lounge area. The food was served quickly, which suited us as we were on our lunch break and was freshly cooked and really nice. The staff were really helpful and the landlord is always a good laugh.

The Steam Railway has a great atmosphere on Friday and Saturday night.
They also hold great quiz nights in the week and always show the sport.
Good pub grub and good prices too!

Good pub in nice area of Swindon's nightlife ! Great staff and a has a good atmosphere. Good pub to watch the footy in as has lots of screens and in the summer they have a big screen outside ! Nice room in the front of the pub where you can have a nice chilled out drink and a chat ! Defiantley worth a visit.

I'VE RECENTLY EATEN HERE AND THE FOOD REALLY WAS LOVELY. THE STAFF WERE GREAT TO AND THE DRINK WAS REASONABLE IN PRICE AS WELL.

Beyond expectations
Not a bad place this; great ales, fun atmosphere. Landlord is a bit of a card, loves a laugh but doesn't dress his age! Fancy a pint anyone?

Went to the Steam Railway for a bite of mid-week lunch with some work colleagues and the food wasn't bad at all.
The staff were really friendly and helpful.
There was a good menu to choose from, Very reasonable prices.
We've since held a couple of staff functions in the front room of the pub - great evenings. Again, the staff were very helpful.
Definately recommend a visit

Above expectations
I've been here on a few occasions and I had the best night of my life here with some work mates! The landlord is a great bloke who I have known for a few years now and is always really friendly. It's a good place to start a night out...
Also there is a great little ale bar, if you like that sort of thing.
