Beyond expectations
This is a great public house, it's not your normal family type pub, it's what I would describe as a proper pub, there's always a friendly welcome waiting for you and the landlord (Rich) and his staff are extremely friendly, they have a good base of "locals" who frequent there rather than go elsewhere as they know what they'll get from "their pub", They often have Live music from decent bands non of your M.I.R nosense and the juke box is the best I've ever heard not a naff CD in there, ignore and forget any preconceptions you may have about this pub and try it for yourselves I know you'll be pleasantly surprised and futher more you are sure to return.

As expected
Well I go in here most home games before and after and have no probs. It is for home fans only though and wouldn't recommend it for away supporters. Has a big screen and smaller tv's and always has the live footy on and all the scores coming through on match day.

Only ever go here for a pre match pint, and this place is for HOME hardend swindon town fans.
Serves several good proper pints of ale and a good place to talk pre match with fellow fans.

Below expectations
Best avoided when Swindon Town are playing at home... especially if you're "not from round 'ere" and don't pronounce the word girls with 2 syllables and some extra letter "r's" thrown in for fun
it's where the Swindon Town fans congregate as it's right next to the County Ground, but if you are a fan of the local team, you can discuss tactics and the problems the team has had since Sturrock left to your hearts content then head off to the ground for a couple more
