Beyond expectations
Well I'm a season ticket holder for Swindon Town so I have to put a 5 star on this one. It's not a bad stadium if you consider it to some others in our league. The Don Rogers stand which is now called, is the most up to date stand of the 4 and is pretty clean. There is a bar on both sides of the ground for half time drinks. The bad point is if you want a tea / coffee / chips etc.....they are very very slow, so you have to leave before half time to ensure you get a hot drink ! It's going to be a better season for the reds I have feel for 08/09, play offs here we come.

Well I love the team and the ground. OK could do with a bit of a face lift but over all the team as always are having to work hard to move themselves up the leagues..could really do with an injection of funds to boost the stadium and add another stricker to the team

suppose swindon needs a football team - and i suppose this will fit the bill.
bit of a ropy ground with an equally ropey team.
how things were soooo different many years ago.
it would be nice if swindon could get back to the top flight - but with the current management structure i can't see it happening.

Swindon Town saw glory in the 90s when they played in the premiership. However they conceded more goals in the history of the league than anyone else and financial mis-management saw them drop down the leagues. Currently under new ownership fans are hopeful of a return to the Championship and stable position there.
Unfortunately the stadium is very run down and in need of either rebuilding or moving to a new site
