Above expectations
On Sunday 06/07/08 my family and I decided to visit the Newly refurbished Hungry Horse at Stonegallows [8 of us in the party].The pub was packed we requested a table the bar person explained their may be a wait but to find a seat and place our order .The new menu was very good and varied something suit us all ,they gave our grandchildren an activity pack with various puzzles word searches ect ,each one different.Although we had to wait about 20mins the food was excellent well presented ,hot and plenty on our plate.A really good standard of pub ,cubicles with small Tv sreens in to keep the children happy food very good and more importantly it did not break the bank .Although the pub was very busy we did not feel rushed in any way all staff polite ,and friendly will definetly be returning for another visit well worth the 28 mile drive.
