Having been to THE NESS for a lot of meals during the summer I have to review this as a lovely hotel, with its Conservatory with outstanding views to Teignmouth Water and Beach front and high up outside area with lovely gardens.
The meals we have had have been lovely and their snack menu is very good if you do not wish to have a full blown meal.
The wine they keep in stock is of a high standard and very drinkable!

The Ness is situated at the mouth of the river Teign and has one of the most stunning views you could want while you eat, and in fact I have been there several times and generally enjoyed my visits, but the last time I stopped by was late sunday lunchtime and all we wanted was a couple of drinks, but we were flattly told they would not serve us. there was room in the bar and we had a table but were quite rudely told that there was no room. I am affraid it totally let the place down and I am dissapointed that I have recomended it to others in the past,.
