after visiting hele fish bar i have to say the chicken and chips i had were excellent and my husband also agreed that his cheeseburger and chips was very tasty we will both definately be calling there on a regular basis i would highly recommend this chip shop

I visited the Hele Road Fish and chip shop yesterday after reading Rob B's review above. I wasnt dissapointed, the chips at this hidden little gem were lovely tasting and will definately be going back for fish and chips there more regularly. Price is £1.30 for a standard generous portion of chips. The shop was clean and tidy, with efficent staff and is open most nights until 9pm. A good find!

I do like a nice portion of fish and chips every so often but I often find that fish and chips shops in the area don't taste as good as they could to.

I first experienced the fish and chips from the Hele Road Fish & Chip shop after travelling home from a long hard day at work. I thought they would be just like every other chip shop but I was quite surprised I was wrong.

The chips have a really great taste to them, the fish is just right and the batter is nice and crispy. Not only do they do a great portion of fish and chips, they also do other things like burgers and fried chicken.

I always make a point of going to the Hele Road Fish & Chip shop whenever I have takeaway fish & chips. Although it is a car journey away from where I live, I think the chips are just that bit better than my local chippy which is just around the corner.

Another plus point about this chippie is that they have parking at the side of the shop so you don't have to talk half way up the road to your car!
