Below expectations
Nice ground, poor football. I'm not a Torquay fan so i don't want to say anything about the team itself but as small football grounds go, I've seen a lot worse.

Above expectations
I have to say the 3 main clubs in this area, exeter, torquay and plymouth get a raw deal to be honest. The grounds and the teams are pretty good plus you couldnt ask for better scenary! Yes, on a cold wet night its not the best but i have to say after some northern teams visits id stay in the south west anytime

Some of the most confusing signposting you’ll ever see will direct you to Plainmoor (or not, they do have a tendency to forget to put some up at crucial junctions)
Battling for promotion back to league football, the lottery of the playoffs await them. The ground is one of the better ones in non-league football and it’s by the seaside so it you get them during a bank holiday you can make a weekend of it. However if it’s a winter evening match it’s almost impossible to get to.
