Beyond expectations
The staff at the ship are very professional and constant scores of 100% in the mystery customer program that we run continued repeat customers and sales up by 60% on last year, so i guess the comment about the gammon comes from some one who works in a pub local to mine who is worried about losing their job due to lack of custom. envy is a terrible thing. I might be biased but by the comment "you have to queue" says it all really dos'nt it.. chris,, manager

Always great value and service, staff are fantastic and the best patio in the bay.Open till midnight on fridayts and saturdays with live music every now and then, a great quiz on tuesday, curry night on wednesday and £1.59 a pint on a monday

Below expectations
this is a really pleasant looking place from outside-the decor inside is really nice and plenty of places to sit. toilets are clean and tidy. you tend to queue quite a bit at the bar if it is a busy night-the food on teh other hand-not good!! the gammon i had was really tough and the portions are quite small-not worth the visit
