Beyond expectations
To say this is the best curry house in torquay would be an understatement, everything from the surroundings to the service and finally the sublime food,(the dhansak is to die for) is about as good as you can get. I would heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone

Good food, atmosphere and service and great value for money especially on a Wednesday evening when it is three courses for a tenner!! A TASTY BARGAIN!!

Beyond expectations
As far as Indian restuarants go - this takes some beating.
Excellent choice of authentic dishes.
Highly recommend the Wednesday Night special : Any Starter, Any Main Dish, Any side Dish and coffee - all for £10
Most times they give you a complimentary drink - brandy,baileys etc
Very well worth a visit

Above expectations
We used to go to the Maha-Bharat on a work night out, and I think it's fair to say everyone loved it. Great value - we used to go on Wednesday nights where you get loads of food for less than £10 - great service - and tasty curry. Oh and the massive fish tank in the middle is quite cool too!

Beyond expectations
Very attentive service and the dhansak is the best I have had in Torquay easily and rates alongside the very best I have ever had. I now go there regularly and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Exellent... a good varied menu and I recomend the Wednesday night special offer. Starter, main course, side dish + rice or nan all for 9.95 !! cant beat that.
