Below expectations
I know that the Co-op is there for the good of the people etc, but this place really does need a bit of money spending on it now. Even getting in and out of the tiny front door with all the oldies trying to trip on the step is a bit of a nightmare. I think it says something about Appledore that nearly half the store is devoted entirely to booze!

the one thing I like about smaller stores, is that you should get better service or should I say more personal service, sadly not here. the staff are dreadful. the stock carreid is as alll the usual spars sell convenient, but not customer friendly

This place barley quallifies as a SUPER market. It is tiny!! It has tiny thin isles and the most awkward packing station. But, it has a good range of stock and is ok for price

What is it about the staff in the smaller supermarkets ... do they really all have to be grumpy? Co Op, Londis, Cost Cutters, they are alway miserable! Having said that, this small village store is very well stocked with all the same bargains of the bigger branches.
