Above expectations
I haven't been here for a while now, but know alot of the girls, who are really nice.. though i do get where the other review is comming from. You can be made to feel a bit self conscious when you walk in there and Phillip, the owner, needs to smile a bit more and be less up tight which would then filter down to the staff.. who i feel are under pressure ...hence a not so relaxing atmosphere when you go in there.. though they have loyal customers, so not everyone feels like us two.

Below expectations
A cut above is just an average hairdressers. I don't like to give a bad review but the staff here are quite clicky and can make customers feel uncomfortable. For this reason i choose to have my hair cut at a different salon. There are people i know that enjoy visits to A Cut Above but, its not for me.
