As expected
One of the more traditional pubs in bideford but suffers from very little room inside, the real ale is a pull and when the grockles get here it really does get very cramped, spilling out over the pavement! One of the dearest in town too so one way to stop it getting too busy!

I love this pub.. yes it is cramped but always has a fab atmosphere and in the summer it has a lovely feel when everyone spills out onto pavement drinking and generally socialising it is a great place to be

Above expectations
I'd call it cramped inside rather than small, but the low ceilings are part of its charm. Certainly one of the best real ale pubs in the town, but boy do they know how to charge for it!

Great in the summer

As expected
This pub is quite small inside. Best to visit in the summer when tables are placed outside on the pavement so you can enjoy a drink in the sun and watch Bideford pass by. Drinks are reasonable and staff friendly.
