Below expectations
the last time I went here for a meal, I left very dissapointed. the service was not good and the food was lukewarm, and to top it all because parking was a problem, I got a parking ticket, which I can tell you did not go down very well. hopefully things are better now, but it could do with a lick of paint and taking into the 21st century

As expected
Ideally located in Bideford this hotel has a great bar and function room, with a resturant that serves quite good meals. Nice place to take that relative you don't see that often.. and at night time there is a good atmosphere even with the karioke!

Above expectations
Tantons is a great place to go for a drink. The prices are good and they often have live music on which is always fun. Quite often there is a kareoke night which can be fun after a few tipples.

As expected
Have stayed at this budget price hotel on a few occasions. Pretty basic rooms. Bars are good and the location is walking distance to the town centre. If you're looking for somewhere cheap to rest your weary head this is the place ... but dont expect the Ritz!
