Above expectations
Now moved to new premises in South Street, right near the car park which is great news if you're carrying heavy books. Friendly and helpful assistants and no need to be 'Quiet' like they used to in the old days. A great section for kids where they can sit and listen to one of the assistants telling a story while Mum and Dad choose a book. Great reference section upstairs and useful if you're researching just about anything.

Above expectations
A lovely old building with 3 floors of fab library. The library has a massive research dept and these days has plenty of computers to use for research! My dentist used to be below the library so when my mum made us go to the library we used to be able to smell the dentist!! Its still only 10p fine here if you forget to bring the book back!!
