Delicious food around the clock!

16 Jun 08, 14:14 5 Beyond expectations

The mouth-watering menu is perfect whatever the time of day.

There is always something to whet the appetite at the Slug and Lettuce and its relaxed atmosphere and comfortable, spacious seating, adds to its welcoming appeal.

It is always my first choice for a mid-morning frothy coffee and pastry – perfect for a shopping trip refuel, and without doubt my mom’s favourite stop too.

If it’s a leisurely lunch with the girls over a glass or two of wine, then we always spend far too long on the menu as there is so much delicious choice.

The Brindley Place location is really inviting, staff are friendly and fun, the standard of food is excellent, and the service is always impressive.

Ten out of ten!!

No Slugs here

We come here for a brain storm and frothy coffee, its chilled and spacious, and the service is great without them rushing you off if you're sitting down and not eating. Good meeting place in the evening if you are on the looking.

Hit or Miss

I have been here of a lunchtime several times and its one extreme or the other. The majority of the time the food and service has been good but a few times it has been terrible, as they are to busy and under staffed. My advice is to go else where if they are busy

Comfortbale and good value

Set right in the heart of brindley place it has lots of competition from other bars nearby but for eating on a budget this is the best place to go. There is plenty of seating, service is quick if you're in a rush and the food is exceptional value for money... it's all good baby!!

Great food, relaxed atmosphere

15 May 08, 11:36 4 Above expectations

I've just had a morning coffee and a sausage and red onion sandwhich with a chum, and it was friggin' delicious. Relaxed and calm atmosphere during the day and at weekends (good for hungover people!) and a funkier vibe at night... Drinks are reasonably priced as well...

I'd say that Slug was the best of the Brindley Place bars, whilst Pitcher is overpriced and AllBarOne is noisey, this place is physically right between the other two, and manages to balance the best of both.

Wow. That's like poetry or something.
