Would rather have my jam butties

Well below expectations
What an over rated, over priced, poncey place.
Full of wannabe office workers aspiring for their wannabe designed butty.
They're full of stuff that grows and tastes rank. I opted for a chicken salad and had to empty a salad bowl of fresh stuff to get to the chicken. I then had to take a loan out at the checkout to pay for my purchase!!!!!!!
Not happy... will stick to my strawberry jam specials from now on.

They burnt my sandwich!!

I like the sandwiches at Eat, they are yummy but I don't like it when my toasted sandwich gets burnt... this makes me sad.
Generally they provide very good service and tasty sandwiches, however keep an eye on the staff when they are toasting as they are easily distracted!!

Whilst the sandwiches, soups and crisps at EAT are tasty and everything, it's really not worth the queueing at lunchtimes or indeed the extra 50%+ premium they seem to add to everything over the prices nearby shops would charge.
Unless you've just been paid and want to treat yourself it's really not worth it. Boots round the corner do a perfectly good meal deal for half the price, and Costa coffee in the middle of the square outside can provide the caffeine hit you might need!

Eat in Brindley place is a great lunchtime choice. They have a large selection of sandwiches, baguettes, soups and salads. The soup is particularly exceptional but all the produce is of a high quality. Certain items are labelled as ‘less than 55 fat’ but other than that labelling is poor, you can check nutritional information on their website, which I recommend as the baguettes and toasties are LOADED. There is plenty of seating, although be warned you are charged more to eat in.

Scrummy for lunch

My favourite has to be the club sandwich which like any of their sandwiches you can have toasted...yummy! The soup is great too and with the hunks of wholemeal bread you could almost convince people you made it yourself!

Eat Soup has become something of a cult within our office and Chicken Pot Pie day is not to be missed!
Fresh and filling and priced around £3 it makes an excellent lunch option. (And you can check the weeks menu online!)
Soup aside, eat also does a great range of sandwichs, baguettes and my favourite...sushi.
Something for everyone here.
