Been in twice and both times they have given me the wrong order, however once the right arrived it was awesome. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is well priced.

Bangers...and mash!

28 May 08, 17:09 3* As expected

A good idea in theory, but still 1 or 2 creases to iron out before this place will be better. Recently opened, the service and quality of food screams a new venue. It's ok, just don't expect it too quickly. Also, a sneaky peak into the kitchen and I spotted a rather large industrial size container of Bisto gravy granules - I kid you not!

Here you will find very tasty proper food and friendly service in a nice location

Its all pick and mix, which can be a bit overwhelming, but don't fret... you can't go far wrong with meat, mash and gravy

Well worth a go

A mash up!

02 May 08, 16:07 3* As expected

Brindleyplace? Pretentious? Not now it's got a sausage and mash shop... Well, maybe.

Loads of different bangers to choose from, and pies from Urban Pie (owned by the same dude). Then you choose your mash and then your gravy. Plus if that's not enough you can even add mushy peas... A wise choice!

Not the fastest service or the biggest portions, but probably the most down to earth place to eat in Brindleyplace...

Simple food done well

01 May 08, 14:59 3* As expected

This is the place for simple food done well....

Nothing flash... it's sausages and mash!!

When I went they had only just opened so the service was a bit slow but they were trying hard and the kitchen wasn't properly finished. Try it... you might just like it.

Not in a rush?

30 Apr 08, 15:27 3* As expected

If you're a fan of sausage and mash or pie and mash then this place is worth a visit. Check the board for the daily sausage selection. With a modern decor and big wooden tables, it provides good traditional food at a decent price but the service isn't great, so if you're in a hurry think twice.

Amazing Sausage and Mash... Eventually.

25 Apr 08, 12:07 4* Above expectations

Mmmm, you can't beat a great big serving of good old fashionned British comfort food, which is why this place (along with its sister restaurants; Homemade Burger Co and Urban Pie) is amazing for a big portion of meat and two veg...

The food is really good, loads of choice (I wasn't sure there WERE so many kinds of mash or sausage until I visited!) - I'd recommend the three sausage option rather than two though otherwise you'll end up with loads of mash left and no peas to squish into it. Disaster!

The only thing against the place was the SLOW service which hopefully will be ironed out by now. We were there as a group of about 12 in the first week of opening so they were obviously having some fairly severe teething problems which we exaserbated a bit. Having eaten in the other restaurants in the group though, I'm sure they'll have sorted it by now.

If you're in need of an uncomplicated feast then give it a go. Just not if you're in a hurry...
