Customer service?

Well below expectations
While the food was nice and the location central, the service in this restaurant is appalling. We had paid our bill but had only just ordered a last round of beers and were asked on several occasions by at least 3 of the staff to vacate the table for the next customers. The staff here are rude and have absolutely no idea about customer service.
Go somewhere else as this place doesn't deserve its business.
great food, shame about the service

we recently eat at this restaurant - and have eaten regularly at the other restaurants in this chain and have had no problems. the food was fantastic, the service was disgraceful. No smile at all when we arrived, nor the whole visit, the waiters hardly spoke to us at all during our visit and indeed very rudely pointed at a plate they wanted off us rather than ask for it. They spilt rice over my boyfriend and slopped my food on my plate from a height, then when I tried to sort my plate out the waiter took my fork out of my hand and moved the food on my plate, then went to put my boyfriend's chicken dish on my plate - I'm vegetarian. Appalling - certainly won't go there again
Decent location

The food is actually really nice in here with tradional and great tasting curries. Its quite nice to sit window side as you do get a great view at how much green stuff their is floating on the canal.

A great spying spot!
Not only can you have a really tasty curry, but it's a brilliant place to people watch on broad street while you're eating.
The later you go, the better the outside entertainment.
Service is good, although they can be a little over keen, we had 4 different waiters in an hour all asking the same thing?!
But it looks nice, it's clean and reasonably priced.
Ring of fire?

If you're out on Broad Street or Brindley place then this is the closest curry house to eat at. I suppose after a few beers you'd probably be quite happy licking the pavement but Bar A Jee is definitely a step up from that.
The service is good and the food is tasty. I also had no problems going for a poo the next day, which was pleasing

One of the better Indian restaurants in the city centre, and definitely the one with the best views - ask to sit canal side if you can. The food is up to a high standard, and they don't try to blow your head off with the strength of their curries.

Well, the service is friendy and the food tasty...
The only worrying thing was that the curry looked like it was re-heated, but i haven't had any tummy trouble :)

generally need a kick in the bahji's but the barajee is different.
Great food (best chicken pathia in town) and a stunning view! One side the you can see the delightful gas street basin and the other side broad street!! The last Saturday I was in there we left our table and were joined by the waiting staff watching a fight on the street.
Better than a wet towel for post meal satisfaction....

Great Indian restaurant located on Broad Street and overlooking the canal system. Good food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit with friends or work colleagues or just as a couple.
