Both children thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and loved the different fish/sharks etc. They have now decided they would like a fish tank of their own at home! We are going shopping this weekend to the Aquatic Stores!

The sealife centre is a great day out for the family which everyone is sure to enjoy. We all thoroughly enjoyed it however it is best to be aware that its only half a day out as after 2 hours you have seen everything including the gift shop. Maybe a little expensive for the amount of time it takes to walk around but still thoroughly enjoyable.

Birmingham is the most land locked place in the country - so what do they do... ship in thousands of litres of water and fill it full of sea creatures. GREAT! Whoop whoop!
Nah - actually not. It's not that bad, but just walking around a looking at fish, otters, sting rays etc is not really my things. The kids enjoyed it - I had to pretend.
It's abit dirty in parts. The food hall leaves ALOT of be desired. Take a packed lunch.

The Sea life centre is a nice trip out for families, however it’s pretty expensive. You can really only spin it out for an hour and a half, 2hours max so at £13 for adults it’s a lot to spend on a short amount of time. That said it is very nice, interactive and interesting.

Perfect for kids

A really good day out for kids and lots for them to see and do. Went here a while back so it may have changed since I last visited, but it is definitely full of colourful, interesting sealife and lots of focus on interactivity. There's also the famous shark tunnel which even as an adult still makes me stand in awe (it's a transparent glass tube that you walk through while Sharks swim over your head) - all in all, a perfect family day out.

Billed as the biggest one in the UK this is well worth a visit if you are close to Birmingham. With different themes and ever changing sea life there's always something new to see. Great for families or inquisitive couples but best avoided during peak daytime in school holidays or bank holidays as queues quickly form.

This is nice place for a family day out, or a school day out. You will see most of the sea animals like turtle, sharks, etc. This will save you the hustle of taking your kids on holidays as they will experience natural sea life here.
