Fantastic Place to eat out!!!!

16 Jun 08, 14:13 5* Beyond expectations

My Fiance and I ate here a few weeks back, The food and service was amazing, our waiter chose the best wine to accompany our meal even when my partner spilt a glass they gave us a glass free. It is not overly expensive and they do a great Tapas at lunch times brilliant for sharing. Must be one of the best places I have been to eat out.

Beyond Expectations!

16 Jun 08, 08:14 5* Beyond expectations

Having selected Bar Estillo for our Christmas do, we had all selected our choices from the set menu and were all looking forward to enjoying the great food we were used to. I however had a major problem, the morning of the do I was diagnosed with Coeliacs Disease!! I knew a little about the lifestyle and knew eating out would be a big problem...not atBar Estillo. On calling the staff spoke to the chef and went through all the foods that I could eat (I didnt even know what I could eat!) As a fussy eater at the best of times they had a job, but nothing was too much for them. On arriving we were seated and the waitress made a special effort to go through my new choices with me explaining what was in each course etc. Throughout the meal the staff were attentive and with such a large group all enjoying different meals they were great making no errors or mix ups, unlike previous meals we have been out for. Overall the food is of an extremely high standard really tasty and of flavour, this was expressed by all members of the team and sereval have made return trips to enjoy the food with family and friends. The restaurant is a mediterrean style with a tapas menu also available. I would really like to thank the staff at Bar Estillo for making my first gluten free meal out enjoyable and easy, as I have since found out that not all restaurants cater for those with coeliac disease. Thanks again and make the effort to try this place I am in no doubt that you too will feel the same as I do...enjoy!!!!

Tap Ass

28 May 08, 18:27 3* As expected

...like the woman does in the Asda commercial, thats what i did when i walked out of Bar Estilo, after rubbing my belly and wiping the sauce from my face. It was v. tasty and when one of our party said she didn't like her beef burger and wished she's chosen the tune steak burger they changed it without any fuss, good work lads, keep it up.

A Great Steak!

01 May 08, 14:47 4* Above expectations

This is a great restaurant, definately worth a travel up to half an hour, any longer and you probably have something just as good, closer by

I have been several times and have never had a problem with the service or food.

Give it a go, you won't be disappointed

I've never had a bad meal here. The service is always prompt and friendly and I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone as I doubt you'll ever have a bad experience here. My favourite meal on the menu is te Estillo seafood paella... beautiful

Mmm, Tapas!

29 Apr 08, 11:55 5* Beyond expectations

The food at Bar Estilo is amazing, there's something for everyone, every appetite and every taste. That's the beauty of tapas - you can have as much or as little as you like.

The more people you take, the more dishes you can get to try by reaching across with a fork/your fingers!

The staff are up for a laugh, the ambience (apart from the random disco playlist) is authentic and the food IS delicious.

If you don't fancy picking at Tapas (what's wrong with you?!) there's some big main course dishes to enjoy too, massive lamb shanks, fish, and vegetarian options.

Actually, my other half's vegetarian and whilst we usually struggle in restaurants to find anything interesting, there's no lack of veggie options on Estilo's menu, so that's another plus.

Weekdays it's fairly easy to get a table, but for Friday and saturday you DO need to book WELL in advance (read: weeks)...

THE BEST

Restaurant in the mailbox by a country mile.

The menu is superb. There is something for everyone on it - I reccommend the paella. With everything in it.

A buzzing atmosphere with friendly staff. You're eating in Brum? Book to go here. Stunning.
