Ring that bell...

Whichever TGI's you go into the staff are one of the best things about them.... well if you don't count the artery plugging food that is.
Rarely kept waiting unless really busy, the cocktails are expensive, but yummy as are the puddings, although they are so big I see them as more of a challenge than a treat.
I love the platters to share.

Beyond expectations
It's a heart attack waiting to happen but who cares... well i do a bit so i don't go very often. I love the food here as everything is deep fried... even the plates the food comes on (that's a lie). The service is excellent but it's a bit pricey.

Everything you would expect from a TGIs, lovely food – I can’t vouch for the cocktails as I am not a big cocktail fan - good times had all round

Have been a regular at this TGI's pretty much since my 20th Birthday here, which was fantastic, and have always found it good since then. The menu may need updating a little more often, but as far as choice goes I don't think it can be beaten. I don't usually experience a long wait for food to arrive and staff are always helpful. The TGI experience isn't for everyone - the whole "americanised" theme and vibe may put people off, but you definitely won't go home hungry. Cocktail selection is fab too.

Good for drinks and a party but if you're not a fan of the whole "Birthday" singing that seems to happen regularly or over zealous staff than maybe not for you. They are however quite helpful and pleasant so all in all a good night but probably more for an occasion than a regular meal.

Steak very slowly done

Well below expectations
TGI Friday's has a great buzz about it. Good enthusiastic servers, and a real "place to be" feel. But we felt badly let down by disappointing food and really slow service. Went there on Mothers' Day for lunch. Sat down at 1.45, order was taken at 2. Starters arrived before too long - and they were decently nice - skins and nachos (rather soggy, but never mind). The main course didn't arrive til after 3, at the same time I was complaining to the manager. The steaks tasted great, but the accompanying chips and veg were soggy and old, and had probably been waiting around too long. One of the two managers apologised and said they were just so busy. Well, it is Mother's Day ... and if you don't have enough staff in the kitchen, then don't open up all the tables!! Or would that be putting customer service before profits? Anyway, the manager was very nice and offered money off - which amounted to free starters and two (of 6) main courses not charged for. So - they were fair ... but too slow.
