Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant.
This place really knows how to entertain - they can also rob your wallet, but you don't care c'os you're having so much fun.
We stayed overnight in Splash Landings this time round and this was a big bonus as we got two days in the park as well as swimming.
Really good.

The Best

Alton Towers is probably the best theme park in the country.
I've always had a great day out here, there are plenty of rides to go on and loads of other things to do too.
Make sure to go on a day when the kids are at school so off-peak times are best. If you can get there on a sunny day and early so you can make a real day of it, you will appreciate the day a whole lot more.
There are always half price tickets going around so if you can get your hands on them it's an even better experience.
Well worth taking the family or going in a group, its just proper good fun.

I love alton towers, always have such a fab day when i go, its got some wicked rides and loads of stuff for all the family. Its a bit of a mission from most places because its out in the sticks but its well worth it. Theres two hotels on site, ones got a water park which is massive. Its best to go on a week day when its not so busy, and if you can go when the sun is shining it makes it loads better, cus you'll probably get wet on the rapids anyway :-D

This is the biggest and most exciting theme park in the UK. If you are a thrill seeker you will find just about the most incredible rides here. You can buy tickets from various authorized dealers all over the country. Virgin trains do a package deal which includes train and bus travel plus entrance into the park, however you've got to book early. Like every theme park, you should think about visiting during off peak hours and days because weekends and school holiday can get extremely busy which means you'll que up for a long time to get onto rides. There are hotels and B&B's where you can spend the night and attend two day in a row.
