Great pub for both food and drinking, some people say it's up it's arse but its not that bad and you don't get stabbed. You end up going for one drink and the next thing you know you are being kicked out at one in the morning. have the mixed grill if you need a good feed.

Always a great atmosphere and always different. Very popular at the weekends. Plenty of parking if you aren't on the booze, but if you are a good selection of draught beers, bottled lagers and wine. It's best attribute is how sociable it is without being in your face.

Recently refurbished....

This place has recently been refurbished with new tables and seating and it looks amazing. It has a good selection of drinks and it's food is amazing. Really good quality food and it's staff are excellent. It has a medium sized car park and plenty of outside seating overlooking the fields across the road.

Really good atmosphere and a great place to go to.

They could do with some more modern toilets though that refill quicker.

A very popular place to go, especially at weekends and Thursday nights. Fantastic, reasonably priced food (the mixed grill is a popular choice) and the large parking and outdoor tables make this a great place to watch the sun go down with friends, family or work colleagues.

No guns here!

The Dog & Gun, the Woof & bang, the Dog ' n G!

Call it what you like, it doesnt mind!

Its like a loyal friend, Ive been going here for around 6 years and I have always enjoyed myself.

Nice beer, friendly staff, good menu ( now serving til I think)

Its just had a refurb, with a new smoking shed thingy and some nice squidgy carpet!

great for nights out with the girls, boyfriend, work and family.

In the summer its busy outside and in the winter always busy inside.

I must say whenever we go on a thursday or friday night theres always lots of good looking men there :)

All Year Round

The thing I love about the dog and gun is that you can go all year round and get a different experience and feeling.

Summer... it's beers in the garden even a kick of the football across the road.

Winner... it's inside in the warm on the cosy chairs.

The food is good, not gormet, but perfect to grab some food so you don't have to go home and you can keep on drinking through the night.
