Recently refurbished and great food although the menu does seem to have gone very continental and a few of the simpler, popular dishes have gone to be replaced with pricer alternatives. Quite a small place but nice decor, good atmosphere and somewhere to meet friends at the end of a busy day.

The Mitre is great for two things... firstly the food which is lovely, second that it's right on the green and in the summer it is awesome with a glass of wine in the sunshine.

The Garden is pretty good as well.

It's got a bit quiet in their lately, so I felt I couldn't give it four stars, but it's the best looking pub in the near by area!
