Carpe Diem

As you descend into this place you will find that beneath the streets there's a nice big bar with some cool guitary grunge music - worth checking out but we quickly move on to other places after a quick drink cos it tends to be a bit full of rockers! Drinks are reasonably priced though so it's worth a visit definitely.

This place is quite cavernous, and just off Millennium Square, so if you're heading into town for a night out, it's a good place to get tanked up as its cheaper than most cite centre locations. However, that said, there is a tendency for it to be hosting really bad DJ's/ hardcore grungy bands who seem to be deaf, so you may want to get there early and check out who is planning to assault your ear drums before settling in for the evening?!!
