The Royal Park

Lovely Old pub.

I haven't been to this pub for about three years, but have fond memories of the place.

It has a lovely old feel to it, like it s always been there, but also has a modern twist to it. Downstairs there is a great space where live bands usually play on the weekends, which makes it very popular with the student population.

They provide four pool tables and a digital jukebox, which always seems to be busy

Out the back there is a pretty big beer garden where everyone mingles and has a jolly old time.

This used to be my local when I lived in Leeds, and I dont have a bad word to say about the place, even the prices are reasonable, worth a visit!

Set slap bang in the middle of Hyde Park, The Royal Park is a cheap, cheerful, reasonable sized pub serving good food of the traditional pub menu style (same food chain as several of the pubs in the neighbouring area) There is also seating outside for smokers, though food can only be eaten inside. Live music is also prominent in Th Royal Park Cellars, a cosy humid venue found underneath the pub with decent sound and crowd. There are new pool tables, quiz machine and so on, and Friday nights are the highlight with the infamous Royal Park Karaoke, which is always worth a laugh and gains a sizeable crowd. Down to earth and fun.
