good family day out

Above expectations
we brought our children here when they were quite young it helped thatthe admission was free so as we were on a very tight budget it made a good day out for us all. the trains were amazing. there was a coach that had been used by royalty and it was stunnibg. all in all we had a super day. I really would recommend it for a young family

As expected
Located conveniently and appropriately near to York railway station, the national railway museum is the largest in the country. Free admission is an added incentive to view some magnificent trains - both old and new. Kids will love exhibitions such as the Thomas the Tank Engine exhibit so check out the website to see whats on.
