Port Of Call, BS8
another pint please landlord

Based a short walk away from the dross that is the whiteladies strip, this 'old man's pub' is an ale lovers haven! The only issue I have is that I always seem to use the wrong door (much to the annoyance of the people standing on the inside of THAT door - Sorry).

smells proper bad, innit
Andy R. says:
such a shame. this place used to be ace with a decent selection of cask ales and a warm welcome...but due to a disagreement between the council/landlord/brewery (or something like that) the smell of the drains has taken over and it's now unbearable. Even a tasty pint of gem can't divert your senses from the awful stench. Fingers crossed they'll sort the smell, because the staff are still lovely and this place could still be great!

I love pie
Andy R. says:
Bristol. Famous for it's bridge thing, the brunel thing and now the pie thing. There is nothing more satisfying than a pieminister pie on a cold winters day. Buttery pastry and fresh tasty fillings combine to create pie-utopia! However I don't like the mushy peas.
Watershed Cafe Bar, BS1
YOM! YOM! YOM!
Andy R. says:
A waterside location, a large airy atmosphere and nachos that are out of this world! The Watershed cafe bar is proper lush whether it's a mid-morning coffee, a cheeky jar (or two) in the afternoon or something to eat. The staff are great, the food is always fresh and there's even some decent local ale on tap too!
