I have never left the Red Lion feeling empty. Great selection of lunch food from Ham, Egg and Chips to lovely salads and baguettes. You can enjoy the 2 bars inside or venture outside in the lovely pub garden to enjoy the sun and a glass of wine. They also have beer festivals in the garden when a marquee is erected. You never have a bad time at The Red Lion!

Lovely waffle shop right in the middle of Cambridge. The name of the each flavour are the names of the cambridge colleges! You can have a savoury one or fill your boots with ice cream, smarties, choc buttons and much more! So much choice and so little time...

I feel definatly too old for Top Shop this days. The range of clothes seems to be aimed at the student market. If you want to dress like a student in a bright orange t-shirt then this is the place. The level of mens clothes has really dipped in recent years.

Cult clothing always offers something different to most high street shops. There is a great selection of t-shirts and olo shirts. If you are fan of SuperDry then this is the place, I love the t-shirts and they always fit well and good quality. The music is always good as well!

Cheap and cheerful

Topman, now located in the Grand Arcade, is great for getting stuff quickly and cheaply. They usually have what you want in one form or another and with the new larger store the choice is a lot better than it used to be in Cambridge. The prices are usually pretty reasonable, meaning you can pick up a little favourite without parting with too much cash!!
