Great

This is a great fish and chip shop, run by a lovely family. It even has some seating for people to eat in. The fish is always good and chunky.

Jam packed with books of all types and for all ages. Good bargains to be had. This shop also sell lots of cds from the 1950s to the '80s.

I had my first experience of this 'legendary' bar last night - one not to be missed if you want to camp it up for the night. This place is great if there's a big crowd. There is always a bit of entertainment - last night was a drag queen, who was ok but not the best. The layout is nice, with plenty of seating and a large bar so getting served is not a problem. There's also a good outside area, so it would be nice during the day.

I swear I saw the Village people in here last night! The place is full of men with handlebar moustaches and vests. Not a place I'd usually frequent, I was surprised to have a really good night here. Not one to visit on your own, you need to be in a big group to have fun here. It's wall to wall men, very small and cramped so a little sweaty. Good place to go if you're trollied and drinks are AMAZINGLY cheap - 3 double vodkas for £6!!

A little shabby.....
Clare W. says:
Not the most modern branch of M&S it could do with a bit of a refurb. There is an average sized food section here but it gets extremely busy over the weekends. The clothing section is a little shambolic, it's the first M&S I've visited where they play music from a tiny stereo plugged in on the floor! There's 2 floors, and they've added a cafe upstairs. Always a bit odd to be shopping for bra's whilst smelling shepherds pie!
