It's got everything
From, furniture, kitchen and glass ware, to bathroom accessories and gifts this shop really does have it all.
A lot of their range is from India so there is a lot of teak furniture and interesting throws and fabrics.
They also have a range of great gifts like fun photo frames, or Asian art style ornaments.
Best thing, it's cheap as chips - well worth a look if you are trying to pad out your place.

Fun little gift shop
This is a great place to try if you need to get a present and quickly - they have an interesting selection of things.
For guys, lovely smart glasses and flutes, or cuff links and funky little gadgets.
For the girls lots of smelly things, picture frames and bathroom accessories.
They have a small line of clothing but it's not great.
Really useful for stocking fillers or bits and bobs for your present draw.

Punky, slutty fun!
This is a great shop with really fun jewelry, punky clothing, accessories, and bits and bobs.
Diana the owner is a bit of a nutter, and the shop very much reflects her personality.
If you want something dangerously tarty for a fancy dress party you will find it here. They do have the odd nice top or skirt too.
Definitely worth a look.

Stick to the menu
This is a proper piss up joint. If it's someone's birthday, it's a great venue. If it's a girl let the staff know in advance and they'll arrange a very rude pudding for the birthday girl.
I think the food is ok, it's not expensive, only thing I would say however is if you are a large group don't ask for the set menu because it's generally pretty disgusting, if you order from the main menu it is fine.

Something fishy going on here
I haven't actually eaten here, but I've bought fish from them.
I can't dispute the quality or freshness, because it was certainly there. I do however think they are joking with the prices. I nearly fell over the first time I bought from them.
But then I guess you have the toss up, if you want a really beautiful piece of fish, you're going to have to pay for it.
I've never heard anything bad about the restaurant, except the occasional remark about the price!

Great beer garden
The actual pub isn't anything special, it's really American, dark and dingy.
In the summer however, it's great, it's got one of the largest beer gardens I've seen in London, with beautiful flowers, trees and plenty of seating. Get there early on hot summer evenings to bag your table.
They do chuck you out of the garden by 10pm because of the residents, I would advise moving on at this point.

Review of Legends

Ah, legends!
The legendary legends - it's your typical old school Jordie dive.
They arrange great student nights in particular VodBull nights, go out with a tenner and come home completely hooned!
The actual club is a bit scabby, and since the smoking ban, doesn't smell great, but it's very central and your bound to have a good night.

Good for a quiet pint
This has been here for as long as I can remember and I've lived in the area over 20 years.
It's a pretty standard bar, but a good one for a quick after work drink. Again as with many places in the area on Chelsea days it's completely over run by blue shirts, but non-match days it's a useful one to have up your sleeve.

Review of The Morrison Bar and Lounge

Yummy chicken pie
The Morrison is a bit of weird one. I think it's one of those pubs you have to go in a gang to, otherwise it lacks atmosphere.
They show most sporting events and somehow manages not to get too crowded.
There's a tiny beer garden in the back lacking a view.
The new owners have done a good job, the bar staff are amusing and they do a mean chicken pie - great Saturday afternoon hangover nursing place.

Review of The Fulham Mitre

Great beer garden
This is a good one in the summer, everyone in a good mood, jugs of beer or pims.
Located quite close to Fulham B'way tube, the Mitre is a good one for a session. Gets busy on match days, quite good food, great beer garden with loads of space.
Good laugh in the summer, nice crowd.

Review of Anchor Inn

Great off season
If you fancy a burn around Cowes the Anchor is a great pub that will even put you up for the night.
Very close to the marina and on the main high street, rooms are really reasonable out of season.
We got rooms for £25 each in September. Think it's the pub Princes William and Harry recently made famous for getting pissed in and trashing the joint - don't let that put you off it's a great pub.

Review of Indian Summer

Interesting pressie shop
This is a great shop for buying things for girlfriend's birthdays - they have really great cotton kaftans, home things, bathroom things, furniture, and much more.
It's all made in India, and quite well priced. I love their bright cotton kaftans for the summer at the beach.
Good for Indian slippers and things too.

Decent snowboarding shop
Other than having all the technical gear you need, S&R have pretty good staff too.
There's a girl in the snowboarding department who actually knows what she's on about and doesn't try to flog you the most expensive board on site.
Good for technical gear too.

Rugby Pub
Fantastic place to watch England Rugby matches.
Does get seriously packed so get in there early and line up the pints, and try to sit near the bar.
Out of rugby days, it's a good gastro pub with good British food and a fine selection of beers.

Hidden Jesmond Hide away
Great, when I was a student I used to go here all the time, so few peopel knew about it. I'm sure this is no longer the case as Jesmond is getting busier and busier.
If you fancy a quiet pint and chat with a mate away from the madness that is the Osborne Rd on a Saturday night then the Collingwood is your place.

More Cocktails
Like the others have said I agree it's great for cocktails.
Gets really rammed so if you're not very tall expect to have an uncompfortable night, but other than that it's a good warm up bar before going on somewhere else.
Location pretty good, lots of buses go past so easily reached.

Review of The Admiral Codrington
16 Apr 08, 17:04
Over Priced but Really Nice
The Cod is behind Peter Jones 2. It's nice in the summer (although stuffed with the estate agents found in abundance in the area) with a tiny front garden.
The food and the wine list are all impressive, but if you're on a budget I recomend the house white with something from the bar menu and the restaurant menu can be a bit of a shocker!

Funny Little Place
A great little secret if you work in the Victoria area and don't like the idea of Railway station pubs.
It's in Belgravia behind Elizabeth Street. Might be limited on space for larger groups but it's definately got that old school old mans pub feel about it.

Perfect People watching spot
Bang smack on the side of Sloane Square, I've had many an enjoyable girls lunch sitting outside just watching the world go by.
In the winter the downstairs bar is nice and cosy.
Highly recommend this if you like people watching.
