Review of Il Pagliaccio

Stick to the menu
This is a proper piss up joint. If it's someone's birthday, it's a great venue. If it's a girl let the staff know in advance and they'll arrange a very rude pudding for the birthday girl.
I think the food is ok, it's not expensive, only thing I would say however is if you are a large group don't ask for the set menu because it's generally pretty disgusting, if you order from the main menu it is fine.

Review of Carluccios

Standard Italian Chain
Carluccio's is fine for a coffee or a quick bite to eat. Being that it's part of a large chain, it does lack any unique or unusual qualities. The food is bog standard Italian Fair, with a deli counter and shop in most branches.
Good place to go if you are visiting someone in Chelsea & Westminster hospital and they feel like a prison break.
Not as busy as the one in South Kensington.

Review of Frankies Italian Bar and Grill

'Masing
This is a fantastic restaurant, owned by Frankie Detori, and Marco Pier White.
Good solid Italian food with friendly prices.
Only thing is the decoration is interesting, glitter balls and really smartly dressed waiters. It's an interesting experience, full table service and a great affordable wines at friendly prices.
Good date location.

Review of Barbarella

Gross
Perhaps one of the tackiest places I've been.
People tend to hire it out for parties as there is a dancefloor then they open their doors to the public after a certain time.
The food is pretty rubbish for the price, it smells and there are too many mirrors that you constantly see pissed people mistaking for hallways and trying to walk through. - Worth it for five minutes if you are sober to see people bouncing off the walls.

Review of Rosso Pomodoro

Yummy pre cinema stop
Great place to grab a bite before you go to the cinema up the road.
Not too expensive, very vibrant and fun, plus they churn you out quickly which is ideal if you are wanting to rush to the movies.
Good staff, usually easy to get a table.

Review of Nuovi Sapori

A right little gem
Nuovi Sapori is a great little Italian Restaurant.
Opposite the Kabab Kid, this is certainly the best in the area. It beat Strada down the road based on the fact that they frequently update their menus.
Always really fresh food, with some classic Italian recipies and lots you don't know.
Wine is not too expensive. Only thing I would say, if you are going ask not to sit under the stairs!
