The best by far 
The best indian food I have tasted outside India. The food is amazingly authentic and cooked to perfection. I regularly call them and have never once had a bad meal. The meals can sometimes vary in tastes each time as their method of cooking does not stick rigidly to amounts of ingredients. You will certainly not get bland food here, the flavours literally explode in your mouth as you go through each item. The service is fantastic as well,all in all a 5 star experience

Chow for now 
After hearing raves reviews from fellow Wirralian's about this chinese restaurant I called early on a friday evening to enquire whether they had any availablity. I was assured that we could have a table at 8.30 but when we arrived at the restaurant we had to wait 10 minutes just to speak to someone regarding our table even though there was 3 or 4 staff passing by us frequently. After finally establishing contact and confirming we had booked a table we were then escorted to the second floor to sit and wait until a table became avaliable. Also in this area were a number of other couples who had blatantly been waiting there for a while. Another ten minutes passed and with no contact from the staff we decided we had only been added to the ever growing que of people so decided to cut our losses and leave. Apparently the food is great but service leaves a lot to be desired

Review of Jan's Butty Bar

Cheap and cheerful 
In terms of a satisfying lunch, Jan's is the place to go. They have a wide range of fillings for sandwiches that can be served on bread, barms, baguttes or binlinds. They also offer jacket potatoes, salad boxes, sausage rolls and hot wraps. Their portion sizes are filling and they are very reasonably priced, the women serving are sound as well. You can pick up other bits of your lunch here such as cakes, crisps, fruit and chocolate. It's the perfect pitstop for a hungry worker
