Review of The Salutation

Salutation
Another example of one of those pubs that really should have shut down in the 1700's or somewhere around that time. This pub just attracts nobody. I can't believe that I was even forced to go in. I had to hide my face in shame!! It is just a pub where you sit, nobody talks, hardly even the bar staff and you toddle off home and wonder why you bothered.

Review of Coconut Grove
13 Nov 07, 17:02
Oh dear
What a poor state of affairs. First it was Giles' Tavern where one night of the week you could find pole dancers. Nice. The rest of the week it was dead and then it decided that changing the name to Coconut Grove and turning it into a beach bar would sort it out. Well I am afraid to say that they were wrong. It has no life, no atmosphere, no anything. I would keep away if I was you.

Review of County Of Suffolk

County of Suffolk
My friend worked in here a few years back and it was horrible. It had the life of a wet mop and had the same 3 people go in every single night. I only used to go in to stop the poor girl from losing her mind. However a year or so ago it had a major revamp and oh my god does it look different. It has gone all modern and sheek, with leather sofas, funky pictures and accessories. The food is wonderful too. Unfortunately it is not a busy as it should be, but maybe it's because it is heading out of the town so a bit awkward to get to during a night out, but it is certainly a good place to start if you can and also a great place just for a bite to eat and a drink.

Review of Swallow Belstead Brook Hotel

Swallow Belstead Brook Hotel
I would say that this was one of the more reasonably priced hotels. I went to works do there last year. It is an annual dinner dance they do every year and all companies are invited, depending on availability. It was a three course meal and tables were beautifully set out. It is a beautiful building with a garden in which you can take walks. The building has an antique feel to it and the majority of the rooms have fantastic views of the garden. The rooms are not fancy but the bathrooms are large and the room has everything you need.

Review of Find A Job
13 Nov 07, 14:53
God send
I was looking for work in the legal profession early this year and a friend recommended these to me. They are only a small agency, so I did struggle finding them when it came to interview time, but once I did they made me feel relaxed and confident that I was in good hands. my cv was put straight away to two firms that were looking for staff, so no hanging around was done. Within I was contacted and they told me that both firms wanted to interview me and then after that I had a secnd interview with both and got offered both the jobs!! I have no idea what they said but I was so impressed and grateful. These girls had become my friends and were so happy for me and even sent a good luck card!

Review of 4st Fish & Chips

4 st Fish & Chips
Nothing like sitting down in a restaurant with a glass of wine and fish & chips! Really there isn't. It hasn't been around for long, but does really well. Why wouldn't it everyone loves fish & chips, especially when you can sit down in a restaurant and eat it and it tastes exactly how it would take away from a chip shop. It is very posh and very common all at the same time. It is great!

Review of The Plough

The Plough
I think most people are surprised when they go in compared to what it actually looks like outside. It is an old pub, that does really yummy cheap food. I had a great bangers and mash there and then afterwards a band came on. It was a great atmosphere because everyone really gets involved and the bar became packed! I admit that the interior is nothing fancy, but who cares when you can have great food, watch a band and have a few drinks.

Review of Frankie & Benny's

Frankie & Benny's
I am not really an American diner sort of person, but I thought that I would try it out. I noticed how close the tables were together. It just seemed like they wanted to be able to get as many people in at once as they possibly good. That was not a good start and then we find that when we arrive we have to wait to be called for our talbe because people are still eating and we must have had two drinks before we wre finally called to the table. Also I prefer round tables, especially if there is a large group of you, just so you can see and speak to everyone easily.

Review of P J McGinty & Sons

P J McGinty & Sons
This was never my sort of place until they started having bands there on Sundays (nothing better than seeing a good band with a few drinks on a Sunday). It is an Irish bar and that is what makes it so friendly and the atmosphere so relaxing. They show a lot of football and rugby so is rather popular with the lads. I definitely go for the bands and the cheap beer.

Review of The New York Exchange Bar

The New York Exchange Bar
I remember when it used to be Clowns Restaurant when I was younger, and now it has turned into a trendy cocktail bar. I always seem to find myself torn between a Big Red Hooter or a Sex on the Beach. They hold cheap cocktail nights during the week and have karaoke on a Sunday. I remember spending Christmas Eve there last year and oh my goodness was it funny! They have a pool table upstairs too which doesn't quite suit but seems to be popular. So if you like a bit of karaoke and cheap cocktails this is the place to go.
