Review of Saffron

SAFFRON'S - CURRY RESTAURANT
A quiet, charming Indian restaurant serving absolutely lovely food. If ever I go for a curry locally (eat in or takeaway), this is the one I always go for. Whichever curry I opt for, it's always lovely & really good quality. Portions are generous, atmosphere is relaxed & usually quiet, hosts are friendly, price is very reasonable. I'd highly recommend.

FROG ORANGE
If you're ever looking for something different - a quirky gift or something unusual, this is the place. All sorts of great, fun, innovative ideas that make great presents (or are just great for yourself!). A really lovely little shop, definitely worth a visit.

OXFORD SPIRES FOUR PILLARS HOTEL
A beautiful hotel. We've had loads of business meetings here & events. Hotel rooms are lovely. Hotel is beautiful in a quiet setting. Business breakfasts are fantastic, as is the fairly newly refurbished restaurant. Highly recommend.

Review of Matthew Clulee

MATTHEW CLULEE, OXFORD
An absolutely stunning hair salon - the most exquisite surroundings & really welcoming, friendly staff. Matthew Clulee doesn't work there every day, but I always book with Matthew for my hair cut. He does a fantastic job. He carefully listens to what you want & also tells you what he feels will suit your hair. You never feel pushed into anything - he'll do exactly what you want for your hair. He's friendly, professional & I guarantee you'll feel pampered as you walk out of the door. Not the cheapest around, but definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

MATTHEW CLULEE
I love this hairdresser's. I always book with Matthew Clulee himself. It's a gorgeous salon - great atmosphere - & Matthew really listens to what you want & talks you through what he's going to do & what he thinks will suit your hair. He's extremely welcoming & friendly. I wouldn't go to anyone else for my hair cuts. Completely recommend. You feel pampered when you walk out of the door. They make you a killer coffee as well! A wash, cut & blow dry / straighteners (whatever you go for) isn't the cheapest around, but I think it's worth it.

Review of Aunties Emporium

AUNTIE'S EMPORIUM
This is a brilliant shop which remains a largely undiscovered gem. I've bought loads of pine from here - wardrobes, lovely pine boxes, pine book case etc. Their prices are fantastic & the items are gorgeous. They sell antiques, bric-a-brac, oddities, loads of beautiful pine & oak furniture plus loads more. You never know what you'll find. I'd definitely recommend it. It's open 6 days a week (closed Mondays). You won't regret it.
