Mid Week recommendation
Been really well set out and decorated - nice ambience! I ate here with mates on a Monday eve and it was £10 for as much as we could eat - it wasn't a pile 'em high and sell 'em cheap - the food was really nice and they advised you to get a few dishes at a time but no limit on how many times you re order - i also has sangria which i love and it was pretty damn good too!! there were a few bigger groups but we were well looked after and minimal wait between ordering and food coming - great value and choice for a mid week eve out!

Great since the refurb!!
I used to work in this pub years ago and its was always really popular then changed owners and went really down hill - give it another try now as it has again changed hands and had a complete refurb and its really fantastic now - 1 side has high bar chairs and tables, and the other leather sofas, plus a restaurant area too - i havent eaten a meal here but had tried the spanish tapas which are really good quality and value! great choice of wines too - really good place for a night with your fella or with the girls!

Great Place to meet up with friends
I love it here! Really friendly and food well priced and everything i've had has been lovely! Champers by the glass at £4 is fab value and its good stuff too - not so good for the head the next day tho! It is a bit out of things at bottom of bridge street but thats a good thing - dont let it turn into another MB's please!

great food at great prices
Underground restaurant with great atmosphere. Very italian look and feel with friendly staff. A favourite for my sister and i when on a shopping day - they do a great lunch time special of 2 courses for about £6.95 and its great quality with good little house wine!! Also been with bigger groups and in the evenings and never been disappointed - right in the town centre so good for heading after to go shopping (daytime) or drinking after (evening)

Great Night Out!
Really good atmosphere and great for over 25's who dont like being surrounded by 16-18 year olds! Great roof terrace which is extra popular since the smoking ban, as this is where alot of people chose to congregate - and lovely on hot summer nights! Music varies between floors - main room has comfy leather sofas to chill on with DJ somtimes or just good music playing. Back room is avail for hire but look out for when the fantastic ginger pig band are on - a real treat and not to be missed! In the basement Friday and Saturday its buzzing with great dancing stuff - my favourite weekend venue whatever my mood!
