Review of Zuccato

02 Centre Restaurant
This pizzeria is located on the upper floor of the O2 center on Finchley Road. At the entrance to the premises there is a cafe layout which makes way for a more traditional Italian restaurant further to the back. As far as restaurants located in shopping centers go, Zuccato's isn't bad at all. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated with a great number of window seats that sadly only look out on to Finchley Road! The menu offers the traditional Italian mix of pizza's and pastas. There is also a selection of Italian bottled beers and an extensive wine list. Prices are fairly reasonable however during the day between 12 , 5pm all pizzas on the standard menu (specials menu not included) are only five pounds which is a saving of up to 1/3 off usual prices. The pizzas were fairly large and very tasty plus the service was prompt. Highly recommended for a lunch/early dinner out!

Review of Woolworths

Reasonable Woolworths
This store is like most of the Woolworths store across London. It has a good range of offers but it looks scruffy and unclean in parts. Some of the shelfs look like they have been rammed for of items to get it out of the warehosue in the back. For the more popular items like the ipod or xbox, I found them to have little or no stock which is disappointing for a chain store of this size. However they do carry a large selection of items and usually have a DVD offer going on, so for these reasons I would check this store out.

An Ok pub for local bands
This pub resides next to the forum so when a big gig is on, its always busy. A lot of band nights happen here on a weekday night so if you like your live bands, definately come down one night have take a look. On the whole the pub is ok but nothing special, drinks are ok on prices but for a pub that plays a lot of live band nights, there still remains a strong element of the older generation.

Opera Singing Restaurant
This one of several restaurants making up this small London chain. The first thing you'll notice when entering the restaurant is how extravagantly decorated it is. A rabbit warren like restaurant littered with nooks and crannies decorated in an extravagant operatic style. The food of a French style and is very good indeed , on a par with many far more expensive restaurants with a 3 course meal costing between £30 - £40. Not just the unusual surroundings make for a memorable night , opera singers are also prowling the restaurant going from room to room and table to table belting out both well known and unfamiliar songs from a wide range of Operas. Be warned though the singers can be quite intrusive so whether you enjoy the experience may very well depend upon how easily embarrassed you are!

South African Themed Bar
This was one of those places I stumbled upon whilst roaming around covent garden one night. It's basically a basement bar which is an average size. I think they are trying to be a south african themed bar because they have springboks and flags on the wall but other than night there isnt too much that makes this place stand out from the countless amount of bars in central london. Prices are quite pricey but from what I've heard, its a good place to watch the rugby so maybe go to here when south africa play in the tri nations.
