Review of Zara

Nice high street clothes 4*

Zara sells mostly smart clothes for women, and seem to be designed in particular for tall women. Clothes are very stylish and reasonably priced.

Review of Carling Academy

12 May 07, 14:55

Large Live Music Venue 3*

The Academy is one of many across the country, and is a popular live music venue. The gigs seem to attract mostly teenage greebos, but I'm sure the full listings is worth checking out. I went to the Academy on a particularly bad indie night, but my friends have been on other nights and really enjoyed themselves. The Academy is a bit more grimy than most places in Angel, which I guess can be a good or bad thing, depending on what you're looking for.

Review of Wallis

Clothes for older women 4*

Wallis sells nice clothes, but not really for my age range. They are more aimed at middle age women. Despite this, the designs are pretty up to date, and all importantly, flattering.

Review of HMV

15 May 07, 22:51

Huge record shop 4*

This branch of HMV is surely the largest one in the world. I've never seen such a big record shop before. This HMV stocks every CD, DVD and computer game you could ever be looking for. Careful though, you might well get lost.

Review of The Tottenham

20 May 07, 21:15

Traditional pub 3*

This pub is unusual to Oxford Street, as it has a very traditional feel. Beer is quite cheap and there's a relaxed atmosphere. A nice place to go for a beer after doing some serious shopping.

Review of Guanabara

21 May 07, 21:10

Brazilian club 5*

This is a great Brazilian club. It's a big club, centered around a large dance floor. The early evening live music is unmissable, and the club nights play infectious samba and Brazilian drum and bass. Drink a few caipirinhas and dance the night away, I promise you'll enjoy it.

Review of Urban Outfitters

21 May 07, 23:48

Beautiful clothes 4*

This shop is very nicely presented, and sells gorgeous clothes. Clothes are fashionable with a unique twist, and there is also a vintage section. A gift section sells random things - like chandeliers and black wine glasses. The prices tend to be very high.
